Ingredients:
3 medium si zed (500g) Tannias (grated )
½ cup Chives (finely chopped )
3/4 tsp Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Seasoning Pepper (finely chopped )
(optional ) ¼ tsp Hot Pepper (finely
chopped )
3 tbsp Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
Oil for deep frying
Preparation:
Mix ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Heat wok or deep frying pan and add oil. Drop spoonfuls of tannia mixture into hot oil and fry until accras turn golden brown and crisp. Remove and place on paper towel to soak up excess oil. To Serve: Place accras on plate lined with fresh crisp lettuce leaves and garnish with fresh parsley and red & yellow bell peppers. Serve with sweet chilli sauce or mango chutney.
